Data removal

If your employer publishes a contact, imprint or team page, we may hold what it says: name, role, business email and phone, profile links, and whether the address was deliverable when we checked. It came from public pages only (see our crawler page). With or without an account, you can ask us to show you a copy, correct it, delete it and keep it deleted, restrict it, stop processing it, or give you data you provided in a portable format.

Email [email protected]. So that nobody can delete or read someone else’s record, write from the address concerned — or, for a name, phone number or a whole company, from an address at the same domain. We acknowledge within 2 business days and complete within 30 days.

We delete the record and add it to a suppression list, so the next crawl cannot collect it again: a suppressed address is not re-collected, verified or shown to any customer. A whole domain can be suppressed the same way. A removal cannot reach copies a customer exported before it — that customer answers for them — nor your employer’s own website.

Delete it yourself from Settings → Account (it asks you to export first, type DELETE and confirm your password or Google sign-in), or ask at [email protected] from the address you sign in with. If you are the only owner of an organization others still use, hand it over first; a live subscription must be cancelled first.

Deletion stops renewals and removes the account data and, for an organization being closed, its files, leads, lists and notes. Export before you delete: for 30 days we can only restore a closed organization on request. We keep only what the law requires, such as invoices; backups expire on the schedule in the Privacy Policy and are never restored to bring an account back. Removing your account does not remove your business contact details from the index — ask for both if you want both.
