Terms of Service

Version 1.1 · Effective 2026-10-22 · Last updated 2026-10-22 · GAMMA IT SOLUTIONS SRL

In short, and not part of the agreement: businesses and individuals can both use Data Scout; you pay monthly or annually until you cancel; Consumers keep every statutory right, including 14 days to withdraw; our results are signals, not guarantees; and your outreach is your responsibility.

1. Who this agreement is between

These Terms are an agreement between you and GAMMA IT SOLUTIONS SRL, a company registered in the Republic of Moldova (“we”), which provides Data Scout. You accept them when you create an account, buy a subscription or use an account created for you. If you accept for an organization, you confirm you may bind it.

You may use the Service as a Business User or as a Consumer. “Consumer” means an individual acting for purposes that are wholly or mainly outside that individual’s trade, business, craft or profession. “Business User” means an individual or legal entity using the Service in connection with a trade, business, craft, profession or organizational activity. Which one you are depends on why you use the Service, and you tell us at checkout. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any mandatory right or protection that a Consumer has under applicable law.

2. The Service and your account

Data Scout is a digital service provided online on a subscription basis (the “Service”): a web app, a browser extension and an API for website analysis, company and contact search, email verification and AI-powered insights. You must be at least 18.

An account belongs to a person; its data belongs to an organization, whose members hold roles (owner, admin, member, viewer). You are responsible for what is done under your account, by your members and with your API keys. Keep credentials secret and report a compromise to [email protected].

3. Plans and what counts as usage

Plans, prices and monthly allowances are on our pricing page and shown again at checkout. Allowances reset each billing period and do not carry over. A verification is a conclusive verdict — “unknown” is never counted, and re-reading a verdict your organization already paid for is free. A find is a confirmed address — an unconfirmed guess is never counted.

“Unlimited” means there is no counted allowance for it, not that the Service has no limits: concurrency, rate limits and the Acceptable Use Policy still apply. We do not use those limits to withhold what a plan was sold with. If a change reduces what your paid plan includes, we tell you 30 days ahead.

4. Payment, renewal and cancellation

We, GAMMA IT SOLUTIONS SRL, sell the subscription to you and the payment provider named at checkout processes your payment — unless checkout names a merchant of record. A merchant of record is the seller instead: it issues your receipt, handles the tax on your order and deals with billing enquiries and refunds under its own buyer terms, which apply alongside these Terms.

Before you pay, checkout shows the plan, the price and currency, any tax, the billing interval and how to cancel. We never receive or store your full card details. Paid plans renew automatically each month or year until you cancel; we give 30 days’ notice of a price increase.

Cancel any time from Billing → Manage subscription or by writing to [email protected]. You keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for. Cancelling does not by itself refund a period that has started — without prejudice to a Consumer’s statutory rights and to our Refund & Cancellation Policy. If a payment fails, allowances drop to the free tier until it is paid; paying restores the plan.

5. Consumers: right of withdrawal

ConsumersYou may withdraw from a subscription within 14 days of the day it starts, without giving a reason, by a clear statement — for example an email to [email protected]. We refund every payment for that contract within 14 days, to the means you paid with.

The Service starts during that period only if you ask for it at checkout. The law would then let us keep a proportionate amount; we do not keep it on a first payment. The right ends if the Service has been fully provided at your request before the period ends, where the law allows that.

Model withdrawal form

To GAMMA IT SOLUTIONS SRL, Melestiu 26/10, ap. 105, Botanica, MD-2001 Chișinău, Republic of Moldova, [email protected]: I withdraw from my contract for the Data Scout subscription (plan: ____), ordered on ____. Name: ____. Account email: ____. Date: ____.

6. Consumers: your statutory rights

ConsumersThe Service must conform to these Terms and the law throughout your subscription. If it does not, you may be entitled to have it fixed, to a price reduction, or to end the contract with a refund. Where the consumer law that applies to you gives you more than these Terms, that law prevails.

7. Your data and your outreach

You keep what you upload and let us process it only to provide the Service. Upload other people’s personal data only with a lawful basis. Business UsersWe process it as your processor under the Data Processing Agreement, which forms part of these Terms.

We collect the business contact details in our index from public company websites and are responsible for that, as the Privacy Policy explains. What you do with them is yours: information being public does not make every use lawful, and Data Scout does not determine whether a particular communication is lawful. You are responsible for the legal basis of your outreach, for opt-outs and for the laws that apply to it (for example the GDPR, ePrivacy rules, CAN-SPAM and CASL). A removal from our index cannot reach copies you exported earlier.

8. Our results are signals, not guarantees

A verification is what a mail server said when we asked; scores, confidence values and AI insights are estimates. The SEO audit, the detected technologies and the company details are read from public pages by software, at one moment, and may be wrong. It is not professional, legal, financial or security advice. Do not make decisions that significantly affect a person solely on our output.

9. Websites and services we read for you

Most results come from websites other people operate. We do not control them and are not answerable for their content, availability or terms. Our crawler identifies itself, honours robots.txt and reads only public pages (see the crawler page); you may not use the Service to go further than that.

10. Licence and restrictions

During your subscription you may use the Service — for your business as a Business User, for personal purposes as a Consumer. You may not resell or republish it or its output as a list, database or competing product, reverse engineer it, or bypass its quotas, rate limits or authentication. We own the Service; you own your content. We may use feedback you send us.

11. Availability, suspension and closing an account

We aim to keep the Service available and announce planned maintenance; there is no service-level guarantee unless a signed Custom-plan order says so. Support: [email protected].

We may suspend or end an account that seriously or repeatedly breaches these Terms, does not pay, or puts others at risk — warning first where we can. During a payment dispute we may temporarily restrict access, subject to applicable law. You may leave at any time (see Data removal). Export your data before closing: for 30 days we can restore a closed organization on request, then we delete it, except records the law requires us to keep.

12. Liability

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow to be limited.

Business UsersTo the extent the law allows, the Service is provided “as is”; neither side is liable for indirect loss or lost profits, revenue or data; and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. You indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your outreach or your breach of these Terms. Each side keeps the other’s non-public information confidential.

ConsumersWe are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these Terms or lack of reasonable care. The Business User limits above do not apply to you.

13. Changes to these Terms

Each version has a number and an effective date. We give 30 days’ notice of a material change by email and in the app; if you disagree, cancel before it applies. ConsumersIf the change falls in a period you already paid for, we refund the unused part.

14. Complaints

Write to [email protected]. We acknowledge within 2 business days and aim to resolve within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, ask for it to be escalated and a director answers within the same period. Consumers may also go to a consumer protection authority or court where they live at any time.

15. Language

These Terms are written in English, which controls over a translation to the extent the law allows; where mandatory law makes another language version prevail for Consumers, that applies.

16. Governing law and courts

These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Moldova; nothing here claims that the law of the Republic of Moldova displaces mandatory consumer or data protection law that applies to you.

Business UsersThe courts of Chișinău have exclusive jurisdiction. ConsumersYou keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live, and the right to bring proceedings there.
